But if you are staying at a hotel or visiting friends at a shopping mall or downtown area, you’ll likely have access to Level 2 chargers, which are less expensive. Hanging out with family and friends for about 3 hours will allow you to charge from 35% to 80% battery on a Level 2 charger that’s charging at 15 kW. This means your total “fill-up” cost will run you about $10 or so. Some areas even have free public chargers.

What Are the Differences Between the VF8 Eco and VF8 Plus?

Many EVs seemingly have so many options and trim levels that it can be a nightmare to decipher the differences. Oftentimes you’re looking at one trim level that is priced too high for you, wishing the trim below had one or two of the options you want. This isn’t the case with the VinFast VF8 as it has two trim levels, Eco and Plus. Both offer similar features with some differences. What Both Trim Levels Have in Common

First, let’s talk about the things that both trims have. The 2025 VinFast VF8 Eco and Plus share the same dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup with an 87.7-kWh battery pack. While vegan leather is standard in the Eco, the Plus model gets premium vegan leather with a 12-way power, heated, and ventilated driver seat and a 10-way power, heated, and ventilated front passenger seat.
